Importing and Exporting Forms

Export & Import a Single eForm

eForms can be exported and imported between platforms to be used as templates for developers to work based on instead of creating eForms from scratch.

Export

Export the eForm from selected platform:

    1. Click the Control Panel icon
    2. Click Manage eForms in eForm Design section
    3. Choose the eForm that you want to export

 

  1. Click the Export button and the eForm will be download to your computerExport an eForm

Import

Import the eForm to the target platform:

  1. Click the Control Panel icon
  2. Click Manage eForms in eForm Design section
  3. Click Import link at the bottom of the Manage eForms window
  4. On the Import eForm window, click Select button to choose the eform you exported
  5. Click Import after the eform is loaded

Export & Import a Wedge

A wedge is a portion of an eBMS Platform. You can select a range of forms to export, and can also optionally include the records with them.

This is an advanced functionality that we do not expose in the Control Panel. Users who want to use it have to enter the URL directly.

Export

  1. Type in URL (https://ebms.com.au/v4/YourPlatform/ControlPanel/ExportWedge.aspx) to export eForms from a selected platform
  2. Add eForms one at a time
  3. Tick the check-box for the each eform you want to export data with
  4. Click the Export Wedge button when added all eforms you need to exportExport Wedge

Import

  1. Type in the URL (https://ebms.com.au/v4/YourPlatform/ControlPanel/ImportWedge.aspx) to import eForms into the target platform
  2. On the Import Wedge window, click Select button to choose the wedge you exported
  3. Click Import after the wedge is loaded
