There are a few pages and HTTP handlers within Nimblex that it can be helpful to directly link to.

EForm Record

This page will present the user with a new record, or an existing record if RecordID is specified.

Url: EFormRecord.aspx

Query parameters:

Name Description
EFormType Which eForm to create record for or load record from.
RecordID An existing record to load. Optional.
View Which view to use. Optional.

For example, for a form named Incident Report, the url to access a record is as follows

EFormRecord.aspx?EFormType=Incident%20Report&View=Default

Tabular Report Export

This handler will send the user a file containing the results of a tabular report.

Url: ExportTabularReport.ashx

Query parameters:

Name Description
EFormType Which eForm to get records from.
Profile The name of a saved profile.Use to define which columns, grouping, ordering, filtering to use
Where A filter expression.Used to limit the result set of the tabular report. Remember that this needs to be url encoded. You can do this quickly with an online tool (E.g. http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/dencoder/)
Format What file format to use, options are: xls, xlsx, csv and pdf

For example, for a form named Incident Report, the url to access a tabular report profile named ‘Incident Status Report’ of this form is as follows
ExportTabularReport.ashx?EFormType=Incident%20Report&profile=Incident+Status+Report&format=pdf

Export Records to PDF

This handler will send the user a file containing a set of records rendered to PDF.

Url: ExportTabularReportUsingViews.ashx

Query parameters:

Name Description
EFormType Which eForm to get records from.
View Name of a viewOptionalWhich view to use when rendering to PDF.
Where A filter expression.Used to limit the result set of the tabular report. Remember that this needs to be url encoded. You can do this quickly with an online tool (E.g. http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/dencoder/)

Mail-merge

Performs a mail-merge operation of a filtered list of records

Url: ExportMailMerge.ashx

Query parameters:

Name Description
EFormType Which eForm to get records from.
TemplateName Which docx or dotx template to use.This template must be attached to the eForm design.
Where A filter expression.Used to limit the result set of the tabular report. Remember that this needs to be url encoded. You can do this quickly with an online tool (E.g. http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/dencoder/)
Profile Use to define which ordering and filtering to use.

For example,

Here $template is the name of the document which is attached, E.g. “Acknowledgment Letter.docx”

Auto-login

Automatically login a user and direct them to a particular page.

Url: AutoLogin.aspx

  • To give an autologin to the user to access Homepage of a system, just add the Username and Password after AutoLogin.aspx?
  • To give an autologin to the user to access a specific page in the system, add encoded Redirect details as described below after the Username and Password.

Query parameters:

Name Description
Username Which account to login to
Password Corresponding password for the user account.
Redir A url relative to the root of the application instance. E.g. EFormRecord.aspx?EFormType=Home. Remember that this needs to be url encoded. You can do this quickly with an online tool (E.g. http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/dencoder/)

For example,

https://ebms.com.au/’Clustername’/’Instance name’/AutoLogin.aspx?Username=’username of the particular user’&Password=’password of the particular user’
